noon Seller SKU bulk upload errors: how to use the NIS error file

A processed NIS upload is not the same as every Seller SKU being created. noon's current bulk-creation guide says an error file can be generated for rows that could not create a SKU. Check the file, fix one root cause at a time, then upload the corrected template.

Download a fresh template for the current category, product type and subtype from Seller Lab. Dynamic attributes and accepted values can change; the current template and its generated error file remain authoritative.

Checks to make before another upload

Use the current category templateDo not reuse column names or dropdown values from a different product type or an old file.
Read the instruction sheetIdentify mandatory, important and optional fields from the downloaded workbook instead of guessing from a previous listing.
Keep every Partner SKU present and uniquePreserve leading zeroes and avoid duplicates that differ only by letter case.
Fill category-specific required attributesnoon states that product attributes are dynamic. A field required for one category may not apply to another.
Use only controlled values offered by the templateDo not invent a near-match for a dropdown value or put the right value under the wrong attribute heading.
Check the parent-child structureKeep group keys and variation roles consistent. The current template instructions decide which data belongs on the parent and child rows.
Review every image referenceFor direct links, the bulk-creation guide currently asks for JPEG; image files still need to meet noon's separate format, size and quality requirements.
Reopen the exported fileConfirm that CSV, TSV or XLS conversion did not change separators, non-Latin text, long SKUs or numeric codes.

How to read the Seller Lab error file

In Seller Lab, open Catalog › Imports › Content and locate the relevant NIS Create/Update import. noon separates the processing state, report generation and SKU mapping result. A processed file can still contain rows marked Error or Pending.

Download the generated report and inspect the rightmost status and error columns. Group repeated messages first: one invalid controlled value, missing mandatory field, broken image reference or parent-child problem may affect many rows. Correct the source template and re-upload it; do not treat this independent guide as a replacement for the platform report.

UAE-to-KSA global-selling data

For the current UAE-to-KSA flow, noon requires a 12-digit HS code and one Country of Origin for each product. Missing data can keep an item from going live. Does a processed NIS file mean every Seller SKU was created?
